Pearl Flute - C Flute UT
The Maesta series is a historic reference in the world of Japanese flutes entirely handmade. Equipped with soldered or drawn chimneys, these 970? silver flutes guarantee an astonishing sound projection. The Pinless and One-Piece Core-Bar technologies also ensure silent, smooth, and reliable mechanics.

Pearl – A tradition of innovation

The handcrafted manufacturing process of Pearl is the result of a long tradition. From study models to professional copies, each instrument must accompany every stage of a flutist’s career. To ensure this lasting quality, the Japanese company has initiated a unique apprenticeship program in its factory in Chiba, Japan, so that experienced artisans share their know-how with new generations of workers.

One-Piece Core-Bar

The One-Piece Core-Bar manufacturing system, present on all the brand’s flutes, eliminates the recurring problems of models from other manufacturers that lack it. Indeed, Pearl has designed a rod that runs through the key axles, from high C to F#, which makes the mechanics more reliable, more comfortable, for superior durability and less maintenance.

Pinless Construction

All Pearl flutes are built according to the Pinless process patented by the Japanese brand. Once combined with the mechanics, this system eliminates one of the problems encountered by traditional makers: the small pins that catch on clothing and promote the infiltration of sweat and skin acidity. A phenomenon that can damage the instrument by causing corrosion and stiffness of the keys. This drawback has been eliminated thanks to the insertion of pin screws under the mechanics, thus removing the need for traditional screws.
