Successor and evolution of the KSM44SL, the new KSM44A-SL is a high-end condenser microphone with lateral capture that offers three directivities: omnidirectional, cardioid and bidirectional. It has an externally polarized 1 "double diaphragm and incorporates the new ultra low noise Prethos ™ preamp for high quality recordings. Like its predecessor, the KSM44A includes a three position low cut filter as well as a switchable -15dB attenuator. It is the number one choice for demanding professionals, whether in the studio or on stage It comes in an aluminum case with a ShureLock® A44AM articulated clamp, A44ASM suspension and two spare rubber bands for the suspension.
