Jackson American Series Virtuoso? Electric Guitar

Born in Southern California in 1980, Jackson was the first brand to meet the needs of hard rock and metal virtuosos by offering instruments with features tailored for high-speed playing.
Over the past 40 years, Jackson has continued to revolutionize its high-performance craft while dominating the metal scene as the industry leader in shred. The all-new Jackson American Series is the next chapter in Jackson’s historic legacy, marking the brand’s first flagship product line made in Corsica.
Designed to inspire players worldwide, the American Series Virtuoso? features all the essential characteristics demanded by today’s high-velocity players. The model starts with an alder body featuring a "hand-shake" contoured heel for ergonomic comfort during long sets.
The five-piece neck, made of caramelized maple and laminated maple, is equipped with graphite reinforcement rods that ensure rock-solid stability up to the 24th fret. The striped ebony fingerboard with an ultra-fast compound radius of 12"-16" (30.48 cm - 40.64 cm) and rolled edges is designed from the outset to facilitate chords and riffs near the nut and to speed up scale runs as you move up the neck. Luminlay® side dots ensure you’re always on the right fret, even on the darkest stages, while a truss rod adjustment wheel mounted on the heel allows quick neck relief adjustments on the fly.
The HH pickup configuration includes a Seymour Duncan® JB? TB-4 humbucking bridge pickup that roars with hot-rodded attitude and powerful low end, while the Seymour Duncan '59? SH-1N neck pickup shines with glassy highs and scooped mids that perform well across a variety of genres. The intuitive control layout consists of a five-way blade switch and dome-style knobs for volume and tone.
Other premium features include the Floyd Rose® 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system, which guarantees tuning stability during bold and aggressive theatrical playing, Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners, and Dunlop® double-locking strap buttons.
Designed to stand out, the American Series Virtuoso? is available in Mystic Blue, Satin Black, Satin Shell Pink, or Specific Ocean finishes, with matching pointed Jackson headstocks featuring binding and black hardware.

Five-piece bolt-on maple/caramelized maple neck

This construction method joins the neck and body using screws or bolts. It enhances control, attack, and sustain. The neck is made from alternating five pieces of maple and caramelized maple, giving it a unique appearance and added strength, preventing warping under extreme temperature changes.
