Kirk’s solos represent Metallica’s signature sound, and he has relied on ESP for decades to build guitars that meet all his needs. The LTD KH-V is the newest addition to the Kirk Hammett Signature series. This guitar is available in three versions: Black Sparkle, with black hardware and pickguard; Red Sparkle, with gold hardware and pickguard; and Metallic Gold, with gold hardware and cream pickguard. The KH-V features a 3-piece maple neck-through construction and a korina body. Its Macassar ebony fretboard is adorned with pearloid inlays and 24 extra-jumbo frets. It is powered by Kirk’s signature EMG Bone Breaker pickup set with one volume control, one tone control, and a 3-position switch. The bridge is a TonePros with a through-body tailpiece, and the tuners are locking. This KH-V comes with a deluxe ESP hard case.
