Description
The phenomenon drummer Gergo Borlai and Gretsch teamed up to develop a very unique addition to the United States metal snare drum collection. Together, they created what Gergo describes as a "sensitive, multifunctional, strong, and limitless" snare drum.
Key features include a 1.2 mm 4.25 x 14 inch brass snare shell, 45-degree bevels, a 40-strand snare wire, and 4 mm cast hoops, making this instrument one of the most distinctive in the Gretsch snare drum lineup. The shell surface is finished with a sandblasted texture applied for a unique look and a more precise overall sound.
A Lightning™ trigger mechanism, a Gretsch Permatone® Control Sound drumhead by Remo USA®, and an interior identification tag specifying the year of production and signed by Gergo Borlai complete this one-of-a-kind snare drum.
