I had no doubts, it is more than largely confirmed, a pleasure that far exceeds the price of 2 cheaper microphones considered, but clearly less precise and detailed on all levels. More of everything, breadth, volume, roundness, warmth, depth, neutrality, transparency, details, clarity; in short, from the first recording test I am convinced; the AKG C314 immediately makes a difference, to the point that if I had the means, I would now take without hesitation a matched stereo pair. Its versatility of use and its 4 polar patterns make it a formidable tool in all fields. A companion that is clearly far above the entry-level professional range. Moreover, it is beautiful, well designed, and well built, what more could you ask for? For my part, nothing, it meets my expectations with disconcerting ease.
