The V31 features the same sound engine as the high-end models in the V-Drums series. Thanks to multi-sampling and behavioral modeling, each strike is reproduced with stunning realism. Dynamic transitions are smooth, without a "machine gun" effect, offering a playing feel close to that of an acoustic drum kit. Ideal for subtle nuances as well as powerful grooves.
The module features modern connectivity to suit any environment: audio/MIDI interface via USB-C, stereo outputs, analog input for external sources, traditional MIDI connection, and Bluetooth audio. It also includes Wi-Fi connectivity for direct download of new sound expansions via the Roland Cloud Connect app.
The V31 includes a set of tools designed to help you progress: an advanced metronome, Coach modes (Time Check, Quiet Count), as well as new features such as Phrase Trainer, Stroke Monitor, and Blast Beast. A 6-month subscription to Roland Cloud Ultimate is included, giving you access to numerous additional kits and sound banks.
Its clear and ergonomic interface makes it easy to create and customize kits. The EZ Edit button allows you to quickly adjust essential parameters (tuning, damping, levels), while advanced menus offer full control for experienced users. A dedicated software editor will soon be available for Mac and Windows, making editing from a computer even easier.
