I use them for my monitoring connected to a Focusrite Solo. Very good build quality. Slightly sharp sound, but no hiss. It really brings out the flaws in my compositions at the mastering level. Good value for money.

Frankly, I'm not a pro but for me, I think for the price there's nothing better, go for it with your eyes closed, your ears will thank you if you don't have at least 100 euros more budget.

They are surprising. Due to a somewhat complicated year, I had to resort to new "affordable" nearfield monitors. They are perfect. Good spatialization, quite precise low mids and "bass", it's not a boom box, the highs are also quite precise, there is good clarity and separation of elements in a mix. Like many new nearfield monitors, they are less directional and that's a good thing. Standard connectors, switch to toggle line inputs from -10dBV to +4dBU, EQ shelf for LF/HF, it does its job... One downside: the volume knobs are not detented but I admit to using the gains at 0. So, no problem adjusting the sweet spot as far as I'm concerned. Some people cry scandal because of the "hiss" when the JBLs are idle. It is normal, low, and does not prevent working. It is worth noting that many monitors, even much more expensive ones, have a slight "hiss" when not in use. As for the cosmetic aspect... To each their own tastes. I am more than pleasantly surprised. Very good...

Excellent speakers!!! On the great advice of Romain, I just set up these speakers in my small home studio. I output 2 synths, including the no less powerful Prologue. The sound is huge!! No hiss. The bass is super powerful, the analog basses hit without any distortion and the highs and pads are fantastically clear. I recommend these speakers 100%. For an apartment, it's more than enough, they even make the windows shake when you turn up the volume!! A big thank you again to Romain for his excellent advice on synth gear!
