Description

Essential Information About the Neural DSP Quad Cortex Multi-Effects + Gig Case

  • Exceptional Computing Power: 6 dedicated cores (4 SHARC+ and 2 ARM Cortex-A5 at 500 MHz) for complex rigs, from quadruple amps to stereo reverbs.
  • Neural Capture: biomimetic AI reproduces your amps, pedals, and cabinets with organic precision and shares via Cortex Cloud.
  • Professional and Ultra-Compact Format: unibody aluminum chassis, 11 rotary footswitches, 7-inch touchscreen, ready for stage and studio.
  • 8x8 USB Audio Interface: 24-bit/48 kHz recording/reamping, managed via mobile app and Cortex Control software.

The Flagship Model Redefining the Digital Pedalboard

Positioned at the top of Neural DSP's range, the Quad Cortex combines high-end modeling and hardware capture. Its library of amps, effects, and IRs continuously evolves, while the "Neural Capture" feature places your signature sounds at the heart of your digital pedalboard, ready to be recalled instantly on stage.

Who Is It For and Which Styles?

Demanding guitarists and bassists, from home studios to tours, will find here a versatile tool for rock, metal, modern blues, pop, or ambient. Live, its scenes and presets offer instant changes; in the studio, the multi-channel USB facilitates DI tracking, reamping, and wet/dry dual bus setups without noticeable latency.

Controls and Workflow Designed for the Stage

The 7-inch touchscreen speeds up patching while the 11 footswitches serve both as switches and encoders to adjust an effect block with your foot. Two effects loops accommodate your favorite pedals; Wi-Fi and Cortex Cloud synchronize presets, Captures, and IRs. Full editing is also available via the mobile app and Cortex Control desktop software.

Sound Quality

The Quad Cortex stands out with immediate dynamics, highly responsive touch sensitivity, and tones that retain your instrument's character. From three-dimensional cleans to tight saturations, the algorithms reproduce the compression, attack, and color of reference amps and pedals, while the IRs and wide stereo enhance the depth of field.
