Designed as a dedicated connection box for StageCONNECT systems, this module serves as a simple and efficient gateway between the analog world (your XLR line inputs/outputs) and multichannel audio distribution on stage. It can also function as an analog I/O box with other compatible StageCONNECT equipment, including certain distribution and monitoring systems, making it a central piece to streamline patching and reduce multicore cable lengths.
Its value becomes especially clear when you need to link a stage to side racks, multiply audio access points, or create subgroups (monitors, side-fills, links to amps/active speakers) without complicating the setup.
This interface is aimed at sound engineers, stage technicians, and touring bands seeking reliable and quick-to-deploy connectivity. It is suitable for live performances (clubs, venues, festivals) as well as fixed installations requiring clean analog extensions while maintaining modern, centralized audio distribution.
If you use a compatible console, StageCONNECT stage boxes, or want to power Ultranet personal mixers (like the P16) and compatible speakers directly from the network, this unit allows you to build a coherent, easy-to-wire, and scalable system.
The StageCONNECT link ensures 32-channel audio transmission with latency under one millisecond. The signal flows in uncompressed 24-bit PCM at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, a relevant choice to preserve dynamics and accuracy while maintaining highly responsive stage monitoring.
Connectivity is designed to be flexible on stage: StageCONNECT audio transport can be done using a standard XLR microphone cable (or DMX cable). The result: fewer specialized cables to plan, easier troubleshooting, and faster setup-even in tight rigging conditions.
The master mode enables multichannel audio exchange with a chain of other StageCONNECT devices, useful for structuring a stage network and distributing signals where needed. The slave modes offer 8x8 or 16x8 channel configurations to integrate efficiently with compatible mixing consoles, stage boxes, and hubs, depending on the chosen topology (local extension, remote stagebox, monitor rack, etc.).
When your needs grow, the interface allows cascading with other StageCONNECT units (for example, dedicated input or output modules) to add additional analog inputs/outputs. This keeps a modular logic: you increase capacity only where necessary, without rebuilding the entire system.
Thanks to its two Ultranet outputs, you can directly power Behringer P16 personal monitoring systems and compatible speakers, leveraging the StageCONNECT network and available analog inputs. This is an efficient approach to decentralize monitors, limit unnecessary conversions, and maintain clear distribution between FOH, stage, and monitoring.
The unit supports bidirectional audio configurations, with control data and remote power at 12 VDC / 18 W. An external power supply is also provided for standalone use and can supply remote power on the StageCONNECT Master output, securing operation according to your installation constraints (distance, number of modules, availability of stage power supplies).
