With this 6th volume of L'Ouverture à la musique, we are continuing our educational approach, at the heart of which the idea of a "sensory hearing base" is a prerequisite. While continuing the development of rhythmic and melodic parameters in the rest of the previous volumes, we emphasize here the mastery of scales, modulations, of the tonal system in general, but also of natural modes and other scales, without forgetting the development of perception of the most important degrees by the feeling of the four main cadences. One work, Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg, serves as a common thread for this work; throughout the chapters, numerous extracts are thus integrated into the progression. The fruit of our experience, the study of pedagogical trends and a search for both varied and appropriate repertoires, L'Ouverture à la musique volume 6 offers teachers and students, children and adults, the opportunity to continue their learning musical by immersing oneself in sound matter, enjoying the pleasure of discovery and experimentation, while becoming more and more autonomous and creative.
