The Rohema MuffBites are aimed at drummers of all levels who want to tame harmonics during rehearsals, in the studio, or on stage. They are especially suitable for styles that require a clean and controlled strike: pop, rock, funk, gospel, urban music, or close miking.
The RimMount system allows quick and secure placement on steel hoops, with the option to install it on the resonance side to adjust the balance between sustain and control. Each MuffBite comes with three foam-lined metal clamps, useful for use on die-cast hoops.
Thanks to the felt and corduroy, the damping is progressive: harmonics are softened, resonance is shortened, while preserving the attack and grain of the shell. The result: a more "matte," focused sound, ideal for improving clarity in the mix.
