This family business based in the Hamasaka region of the Land of the Rising Sun, with origins dating back to 1873, began its history by manufacturing sewing needles! The brand has worked hard to offer audiophiles and DJs a replacement solution for the famous Shure M44-7 and N44-7 cartridges and styli, true legends that have marked the history of Hip-Hop and scratching. On this Omnia J44A-7 Aurora, JICO has integrated a moving magnet cartridge J44A-7, delivering performance equivalent to the Shure M44-7 cartridges of the time, with powerful bass and a smooth, balanced sound.
The N44-7 Aurora stylus, with its precisely crafted tubular aluminum Type S cantilever designed to closely match Shure cantilevers, combined with a nude (bare) integral diamond, offers excellent guidance in the vinyl groove and increased resistance to skipping, while providing you with high-definition audio quality.
A model optimized for DJs.
This complete kit offered by JICO, which reproduces sounds very close to authentic Shure cartridges, benefits from improvements made by the brand to best meet the needs of DJs. The tracking force has been increased, from a maximum of 3g for the Shure model to 4.5g for this JICO model to ensure better tracking for the most demanding scratch sessions. The stylus body of this Aurora version, made of Lumi Nova phosphorescent pigments, glows in the dark to help you locate your stylus tip more easily in low light, while adding an unmistakable touch to your turntable! And to protect the stylus under all circumstances, this model features a protective flap that folds over the stylus to prevent any harmful friction.
