Description

So what exactly is Ottobit Jr.? Well, it’s a bitcrusher, but it would be an insult to just call it that. It’s also an ultra-musical sequencer, stutter and filter effect, but it’s not JUST that either. It’s the sum of all of these parts that make the Ottobit Jr. what it is: a maniacal side-scrolling, coin-collecting, power-glove-punching-machine with a host of earth-shattering sounds that’ll melt your face right off! Heck, the pedal is so unique and innovative that it deserves to have a verb all of its own. So plug in, press play and Ottobit away!

Features:
- Variable Sample Rate and Bit Crushing
- Vintage Synth inspired Low-Pass Filter
- Triggered Stutter Effects
- Sequencer module for Pitch, Filter or Decimation pattern sequencing

Excellent pedal to which I cannot give the maximum rating, and this for several reasons. I received a first pedal with a pot that did not work. That's when my 3-week ordeal began, marked by the deafening silences of Woodbrass's deplorable after-sales service. Then, ease of use... It takes a bit of time to master, and the manual, although very nice (like all the packaging), remains quite laconic. Quality/price ratio, again, I find it a bit expensive. Now that all that is said... It's a quite unique and very very successful pedal. I use it on everything and anything (I produce house music) and the result is there, whether you're looking for a subtle effect or in your face. The sequencer is a real factory of happy accidents. What I was looking for at first was a stereo filter, rather rare in this format. This one is fantastic. But it turns out I also love bitcrushers. Again... Incredible.... (Show more)
