This mute is excellent: the overall volume of the instrument is truly muffled and the intonation is preserved. You can practice without waking the children sleeping in the next room. Fast delivery, item properly packaged.

Very good mute, silent, pleasant to play and light. Its sound is clear and accurate. I recommend it without hesitation, after having bought a "Yamaha Silent Brass SB7-9" mute which is a bit less noisy but expensive and gimmicky in my opinion. I also have an apartment mute "Denis Wick" which produces a disgusting sound! This mute therefore makes a big difference. That said, be careful, it sticks out a bit from the bell so depending on the case you use it may be inconvenient. That said, it is very small so easy to find a place for it. (1 year of trumpet for me, my advice is what it is worth).
