This is the drumhead I have always used. Effective for playing rock and ideal for jazz. Playing with brushes on this drumhead is a real treat.

First time using the snare drum head from Remo, solid and effective, I recommend it. The sound needs to be adjusted relative to the rest of the snare drum. :)
