The StageBug SB-6 follows Radial's philosophy of compact and rugged solutions: a format easy to slip into a case, yet built to withstand daily rigors (transport, stage, technical setups). Made in Canada and housed in a steel enclosure, it aims for a simple goal: secure audio connections and restore a clean signal without adding complexity to the setup.
The SB-6 is especially useful whenever you connect very different sources to a console, interface, or sound system: instruments with line outputs, keyboards, pedalboards, audio players, consumer devices, or professional equipment. It helps eliminate unwanted noise that often appears when interconnecting devices powered from different circuits or when a stereo signal passes through multiple links.
With its two channels, it is perfectly suited for stereo configurations (keyboard, module, player, laptop via interface, etc.) and also allows processing two separate lines. The polarity inversion on channel B is a real advantage for restoring stereo image phase when necessary.
At the heart of the StageBug SB-6 is a passive circuit based on two Eclipse Custom transformers. This approach provides galvanic isolation of the connection to reduce hum and interference while maintaining a frequency response suitable for demanding audio use. The SB-6 is designed to accept both balanced and unbalanced signals and to integrate easily between your sources and line inputs.
The 6.35mm TRS Jack connectors facilitate integration into most setups. The SB-6 is designed to adapt to the type of connection used, simplifying cabling in the field. The result: plug in, isolate, and quickly recover a usable signal without adding power or modifying your audio chain.
When the source is too strong, the input PAD attenuates the level to prevent overloading the next stage. On channel B, the 180-degree polarity inversion helps correct certain phase issues, especially in stereo configurations where cables, adapters, or devices may cause inversion.
