very good product, the sound output of the amp is good and without delay, however I find that we don't have the same sensations and results as via the speaker, and in attenuator mode there is a slight modification of the signal which remains very bright, compared to passive attenuators which have a muffling effect on the sound. It will take some time to get familiar with the Torpedo Remote software but after that you can really sculpt the sound. It's a pity that we only have 12 free cabs, but on the other hand we can test them all for free and it gives an overview of the different speakers that can be combined with the amp and that's really cool.

It's better than Universal Audio OXbox which is twice as expensive!

An incredible tool, my guitar sessions are no longer the same. Perfect for working at home with headphones, or not. To record or perform on stage. The sound is "always ideal." And it's FRENCH However, the software itself is in English. That's why it remains a product for insiders but so useful to get the best out of our tube amps.

Wow what a blast!!! This Torpedo Captor X is just amazing... I love it, easy to use, tons of possibilities... basically all good even if the price is high it's an investment worth it. Thanks to it I rediscover my Blackstar Series One 104 6L6, I can enjoy it day and night without any limit... and my amp is no longer only used during rehearsals and/or concerts (compositions, home studio...) Since I have my Torpedo Captor X, no more amp simulators, cabinets, effects (BiasFx, Ampliube) even if they are very good software, nothing beats the sound of a tube amp and real effect pedals. The only complaint I could make if it is one, is that given the price a carrying case could be provided. Thanks Two notes Audio Engineering.

A bit expensive though but excellent product. It's always on my amp! Essential for reducing the volume but not the dynamics! A must-have for live or studio recording! A case to store it would be greatly appreciated especially at this price!

I use it exclusively as a Loadbox and virtual speaker (for now)... A killer, with all the parameters you might need to shape the sound. The box is sturdy, reflects very good build quality, and fits well on the desk next to my PC. For the first time in ages, I can really hear what my tube amp sounds like in its sweet spot, and adjust the few flaws for the PERFECT SOUND. Everything is configurable via the PC or Smartphone app (extremely useful during soundchecks before a concert). The +: there are tons. The IRs are of excellent quality, you can really feel the mic-to-speaker proximity effect on certain placements. Top accessibility thanks to the front panel knobs and the Torpedo Remote app on the smartphone. For me, the little thing that makes the difference is the twin Tracker, very well thought out with its attack variations and time offset. The -: The absence of a "Line in" input for moments when I prefer to do without my amp head and use my brand preamp (Two Notes Le Clean) for a minimalist set. But well, we're nitpicking...
