Totally subjective opinion, I only use Tortex from this range, whatever the style (acoustic or rock fusion). Impossible to change them, they are perfect.

I like the slightly matte coating, it holds well between the fingers, even when sweaty, with earwax or even beer.

Good product. Slightly flexible with a touch of rigidity that allows for well nuanced effects.

Having tested Dunlop picks -nylon (too soft or too hard if you go up in sizes) -tortex -ultex -soo (too hard no matter the size) & Fender celluloid ocean white Well, my preference goes (by far) to the Tortex range because they hold well in the hand (I have the annoying tendency to lose picks when I play and these hold well in the hand, and moreover they are flexible enough to do a back and forth on the strings while having a certain rigidity) I took sizes 50/73/88 The 50 is versatile (quite flexible) I find it good, the 73 is not bad, allows to get drier sounds, however the 88 is equivalent (in my opinion to a 100 in soo or ultex, too hard anyway for my use) For information, I have a folk guitar and an electric, and I use the same range of picks on my 2 guitars
