BLEASS Dragonfly is a creative tremolo plugin designed to go far beyond a simple volume variation. Its "dynamic tremolo" approach analyzes the signal (or follows external sources) to generate modulation that embraces the sonic material. The result: organic pulses on a guitar, expressive movements on pads, nervous patterns on synths, or tightly controlled rhythmic tremors on vocals and textures. It's an ideal tool in electronic, pop, ambient, cinematic production, but also in mixing to add depth without drowning the source.
Unlike a classic tremolo triggered by a simple LFO, Dragonfly can modulate based on the frequencies present in the incoming audio. The effect becomes reactive: it follows the variations of a performance, a sustained note, a denser chord, or a percussive source. This approach allows for more "intelligent" vibrations, perfect for making a track breathe and creating motion without complex automation.
Dragonfly offers a choice of sources to trigger or influence modulation: pitch tracking, MIDI input, external audio source (AUDIO), or manual control. This flexibility opens very musical scenarios: synchronizing tremolos to a MIDI line, making a pad react to drum transients sent in sidechain, or obtaining harmonic movement linked to the pitch of a vocal or lead.
The Wild mode adds subtle coloration thanks to waveshaping saturation. You get a more "biting" and present tremolo, with a sense of density and warmth, ideal for making a source stand out in the mix or giving a more analog signature to digital synths.
The interface emphasizes immediate understanding of the result: the animated "wings" provide visual feedback of the modulation. This facilitates fine-tuning, whether you're looking for a subtle tremolo to add life or a more extreme rhythmic effect to completely transform a track.
