BLEASS Filter is a creative filtering plugin designed to shape and animate your audio sources: synths, drums, basses, vocals, guitars, or buses. It allows both quick corrections (cleaning up lows, taming harsh highs) and transforming a static sound into living material, with sweeps, synchronized pulses, and auto-wah type movements. In electronic, hip-hop, pop production or sound design, it becomes a central tool to bring "movement," depth, and a clear sonic signature, while maintaining a simple and visual workflow. The software is also available on iOS, convenient for extending a project on the go.
The core of BLEASS Filter is based on a multi-mode filter offering essential responses: low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and notch. To go further, the plugin allows doubling the filtering, which enhances the sense of character: more expressive resonance, steeper slopes, and sharper transitions. Result: you move from subtle filtering to a clearly "musical" effect, perfect for highlighting a snare attack, refining a pad, or controlling the presence of a bass without losing energy.
The envelope follower automatically adjusts the cutoff frequency based on the input signal level. It is the ideal tool to achieve auto-wah type effects on a guitar, give a breathing impression to a drum loop, or add dynamics to a sustained synth. On percussive sounds, it accentuates impact by opening the filter at each transient; on textures, it brings a natural undulation that avoids monotony.
For filter effects typical of EDM, house, techno, or ambient, BLEASS Filter includes an LFO modulation with six waveform shapes. You can choose a tempo-synced mode to precisely lock rhythmic movements to your session, or opt for a free mode to create a more organic and less predictable sweep. This dual approach facilitates both transitions (build-ups, drops, breaks) and subtle micro-movements on a main track.
The Stereo LFO Offset function introduces a phase shift between the left and right channels. It is a powerful lever to create a wider stereo image while remaining coherent in the mix. On pads and textures, the effect provides an immediate sense of space; on hi-hats and percussion, it adds lively lateral movement that avoids the "mono center" effect without resorting to heavier processing.
BLEASS Filter focuses on immediate readability of what you are doing: a filter graph clearly displays curves and settings, speeding up decision-making and limiting adjustments by ear alone. This approach is ideal in fast production, mixing, or sound design contexts, where you chain tests and variations. The layout remains simple: adjust, listen, validate, without getting lost in menus.
