BLEASS Flanger is a modulation effect plugin designed to add movement, width, and character to your tracks. It excels both in subtle processing (thickening a pad, animating a pad sound, adding depth to a clean guitar) and in pronounced effects (spectacular sweeps, "metallic" textures, transitions, electronic sound design). Thanks to its tempo synchronization and signal-sensitive modulation, it integrates naturally into EDM, pop, rock, hip-hop, ambient productions and post-production.
With its two LFOs and 6 available shapes, BLEASS Flanger allows you to build complex movements: classic back-and-forth flanging, sharper pulses, regular or irregular wobble, and evolving variations that bring life to a static source. By combining the two LFOs, you can create a very musical flanger for acoustic instruments or, conversely, more experimental trajectories for synths and FX.
The Envelope Follower modulates the delay time based on the dynamics of the incoming signal. The result: the effect becomes expressive and organic, emphasizing movement on attacks and becoming more discreet during softer passages. This is particularly effective on snare drum, hi-hats, bass, funk guitars, or vocals to achieve a lively flanging that follows the performance.
The LFOs can sync to the beat to lock modulation to your tempo. This way, you get perfectly timed effects for intros, breaks, builds, and drops, or to transform a synth pattern into a modulated rhythmic motif. In production, this temporal coherence helps maintain a clear mix while adding movement.
The input filter (selectable between low-shelf or high-pass) is used to prepare the signal before it passes through the flanger. For example, you can brighten a source by removing bass frequencies or, conversely, reinforce the low end while keeping a smoother flanging in the highs. It's a simple but very effective tool to tailor the effect to each instrument and prevent it from taking up too much space in the mix.
Designed to remain light on the processor, BLEASS Flanger allows stacking multiple instances (drums, guitars, synth buses, effects returns) without compromising the stability of your session. An important asset for dense projects and performance-oriented setups.
