BLEASS Fusion is a wavetable distortion plugin designed to transform a clean source into a sound that is more lively, dense, and expressive, while maintaining fine control over harmonic color. It targets both electronic music producers (bass music, techno, house, drum and bass) and sound designers seeking abrasive textures, modulated timbres, and organic variations that are difficult to achieve with classic distortion.
Whether you want to add subtle saturation to a synth line, thicken a bass, make a kick stand out, or radically alter a vocal for a creative effect, BLEASS Fusion offers a sound shaping-oriented approach: you select the wavetable driving the distortion, target relevant frequency areas with the filters, then animate everything with modulations to add movement to the sonic material.
The core of BLEASS Fusion is based on a waveshaper-type distortion driven by wavetable. With 58 provided wavetables, you have a broad palette of transformation curves to generate rich harmonics, sharper transients, or more radical clipping. The advantage of wavetable distortion is the ability to shift from a warm "analog" character to much more modern and textured treatments, while remaining precise and reproducible.
Going further, the custom wavetable import feature opens the door to a unique sonic signature: you can integrate your own waveforms and turn BLEASS Fusion into a true timbre creation tool. Ideal for developing a signature sound, designing basses with unprecedented character, or evolving a synth patch in a very personal direction.
BLEASS Fusion includes two multi-mode resonant filters, positionable before or after the distortion section. This architecture is particularly effective for controlling energy: in pre-filtering, you avoid unnecessarily saturating unwanted frequencies (for example, the low end on a lead or vocal). In post-filtering, you tame the harmonic content generated by the distortion to preserve clarity and place the sound properly in the arrangement.
This "targeted" approach is very useful in modern production: you can keep a solid low end without muddiness, concentrate aggression in the midrange, or conversely create a controlled lo-fi effect by trimming bandwidth. The result: a more musical, cleaner distortion that is often easier to mix than saturation applied across the full spectrum.
With its LFOs and motion sequencer, BLEASS Fusion goes beyond simply "dirtying" a sound: it stages it. By modulating the distortion amount, wavetable choice or position, or filtering parameters, you achieve rhythmic variations, pulses, sweeps, and progressive transformations that immediately bring life to textures.
In practice, this is a major asset for basses and leads in electronic music, drones, FX, but also for energizing simpler elements (processed guitars, percussion, creative buses) without multiplying plugins. You gain sonic coherence and speed, while retaining fine control over the intensity and musicality of the movement.
The real-time waveshaping visualizer helps instantly understand the impact of your settings. This visual feedback enhances precision, especially when seeking a balance between character and cleanliness (sharper attack, controlled harmonics, intentional clipping). The clear, production-oriented interface promotes a fast workflow, and the design's low CPU consumption allows multiple instances in a project without overloading the session.
Finally, BLEASS Fusion is announced as also available on iOS, convenient for mobile workflows or creative sessions on the go, depending on your production environment.
