BLEASS Granulizer is a granular effect plugin designed for sound design and modern production: electronic, ambient, cinematic, experimental pop, textured hip-hop, post-rock, and film scoring. It allows you to deconstruct a signal (voice, guitar, synth, drums, field recording) into micro-fragments, then redistribute them to create evolving pads, controlled glitches, sound clouds, and lively transitions. The plugin is also available on iOS, ideal for extending a creative workflow on mobile.
The core of BLEASS Granulizer is based on an engine that gives control over essential processing parameters: grain size, grain density, and grain shape. This approach allows you to go from a subtle "blur"/widening effect to a highly marked granular reconstruction. In practice, you can smooth a sound to make it atmospheric, or conversely fragment it to obtain a rhythmic and edgy texture.
Randomization adds an element of chance that makes the result more organic and less repetitive. This is particularly effective on static sources (held notes, drones, long samples) to generate permanent variations without having to automate each parameter manually. In a mix context, this variability also helps create depth and movement while maintaining a coherent sonic signature.
Thanks to the multi-bus inputs, BLEASS Granulizer can mix up to four audio sources. This architecture is perfect for designing rich layers: for example, a voice + a sound effect + a synth + a guitar, all "blended" into the same granular cloud. You thus obtain hybrid timbres, dense atmospheres, and more sophisticated transition effects, while keeping a clear workflow within your DAW.
The 3D Visualizer provides real-time visual feedback on the granular processing behavior. For sound design, this is a real time saver: you understand faster the relationship between what you adjust and what you hear, making exploration more intuitive. BLEASS Granulizer offers extensive modulation options to animate parameters and create dynamic textures. It is the ideal tool to transform a simple loop into living material, make a pad breathe, or generate subtle movements in a background soundscape. By combining modulation and randomization, you get "evolving" soundscapes particularly effective for ambient, cinematic, and intros/outros.
