Quantum Leap Stormdrum 2 Pro Bundle is a solution for orchestral and ethnic percussion designed for film composition, trailers, video game music, and all productions requiring realistic impacts, powerful ensembles, and detailed percussive colors. Thanks to its ready-to-use MIDI performances and the depth of multisamples, you quickly move from a rhythmic idea to a complete arrangement while maintaining a credible and expressive acoustic sound.
The pack includes more than 100 MIDI performances oriented towards film music, with many variations, intros, and endings. The workflow highlight: you adapt the tempo of your sequence (e.g., from 120 BPM to 50 BPM) without quality loss, because the samples are not stretched; only the sequencer tempo changes.
The percussion benefits from a detailed approach with 24 velocity layers multisamples to naturally evolve the attack and tone according to dynamics. You can also tune elements, apply filters and effects, isolate or mute sounds, replace an element, or keep a multi while rewriting your own rhythm.
The Pro version adds more than 4 GB of additional samples: about 2.5 GB of new recordings (ensembles and solos) and a bonus of about 1.5 GB of the best multisamples from the original Stormdrum library. In total, SD2 and SD2 Pro gather more than 16 GB of acoustic percussion to cover needs ranging from subtle grooves to the most imposing impacts.
