MTurboCompLE is a compression plugin designed for mixing and pre-mastering. It allows for transparent dynamic control to an intentional analog coloration on vocals, drums, bass, guitars, or master bus. Its consistent interface speeds up model and setting selection, while parallel compression and sidechain facilitate precise sculpting of energy and transients.
Instead of manually reproducing each circuit, MTurboCompLE relies on an extremely versatile dynamics processor tuned by machine learning. The result: more than a dozen models inspired by classic legends, offering typical attack/release behaviors and saturations while maintaining modern stability.
Each emulation shares the same GUI: a "Compression" control to dose gain reduction without misleading level variations, a "Saturation" section for character, and "Dry/Wet" for parallel compression. The Temporary Gain function maintains a constant volume perception, and A-H snapshots allow quick comparison of multiple settings.
Refine the compressor's response using external sidechain, high-pass/low-pass and peak filters on the detector, and the proprietary generalized dynamic detector. Automatic AGC, the safety limiter, Mid/Side processing, and the visualization engine (VU, GR, time graphs) secure and speed up your choices.
MTurboCompLE does not include the multiband version nor the "Edit" screen. You cannot design your own compressors or modify models, but you benefit from a selection of ready-to-use models at an affordable price, with Melda's workflow and tools.
