Complete software
Designed for reverse-oriented sound design, Rewind excels at creating nostalgic pads, poetic bells, cinematic drones, and eerie textures for electronic music, ambient, and scoring. Its approach combining reversed granularity and tape simulation allows you to sculpt retrospective movements, spectral transitions, and ghostly rhythms, from subtle to radical.
Choose from 128 sources and let the engine break the audio into grains played backwards. Refine the material with Position, Density, Size, Width, Chaos, Detune, and a Dust control to add vintage crackle.
Add character with "Digital" (crush, texture) and "Analog" (warmth, saturation, slight instability). Place the processing pre-filter to sculpt it, or post-filter to tint the overall output.
A multi-mode filter (Low-Pass, Band-Pass, High-Pass, Notch) controlled by two separate ADSR envelopes (amplifier and filter) allows you to go from sharp plucks to evolving pads.
Synchronized capture and reverse playback with Rewind control, Half/Double octave variations, and realistic artifacts via Age and Wash. Regen maintains evolving loops while Fade ensures smooth transitions.
Lush Chorus, Rotary, Metallic Flanger, tempo-synced Delay, and spacious Reverb, all reorderable at will. The Master section offers 3-band EQ, high-pass/low-pass filters, stereo management (Width/Mono), Compressor, Saturate, and Maximize to finalize the level.
The Intro screen gathers essential controls (Rewind, Digital, Analog) and allows browsing through the 128 sources. The dice icon launches an intelligent randomizer to instantly discover new timbres.
