Designed for audiovisual post-production, the "AMB Upmix Module" accelerates the conversion of stereo or multichannel content into 5.1/7.1 formats intended for broadcast, streaming, and cinema on television. It ensures a coherent sound image and perfect downmix compatibility to meet delivery specifications, while integrating into pipelines where batch processing and traceability are essential.
Based on the "Halo Upmix" algorithms, the module produces natural, stable, and compliant 5.1 and 7.1 masters. When required, downmix compatibility is ensured to revert to stereo without surprises.
Two watched folders and processing queues allow automatic ingestion, prioritization, and execution of large volumes of files. The drag-and-drop interface simplifies usage, while log generation and data export facilitate auditing and reporting.
Thanks to multi-threaded processing, AMB executes tasks in parallel and manages complex queues, typically achieving more than 100x real-time speed. The base configuration includes two threads and can be extended with expansion packs to multiply queues and threads according to workload.
Standalone application for macOS and Windows, AMB easily integrates with dedicated facility servers or workstations without relying on a DAW host. Modular options provide a "future-proof" solution that grows with your needs.
