Designed for producers, mixers, and drummers programming in the studio, this sound library offers "mix-ready" drums with the CLA grain. It suits rock, pop, indie, punk, or light metal productions and integrates well into both composition and mixing. With Trigger, it excels in drum replacement and reinforcement of acoustic takes, while remaining ideal for MIDI programming in SSD.
Recorded in spring 2012, the kits were captured at OCEAN Studios and then mixed in CLA's control room in Los Angeles using the same chains as on his records. The kicks and snares include a layer of the famous Sony reverb, printed to immediately regain the typical punch and width.
The selection includes 12 snares, 11 kicks, and 5 toms, covering both modern and classic textures. The snares offer multiple articulations for credible and nuanced playing, ideal for detailed programming and dynamic grooves.
Each element has been sculpted to stack effortlessly in a dense mix. In SSD or Trigger, you quickly adjust levels, tuning, dynamics, and envelopes to tailor the attack and sustain to your arrangement, without stacking additional plug-ins.
