Thesys is a creative MIDI sequencer designed to sculpt riffs, arpeggios, basslines, and evolving patterns while controlling your virtual instruments, hardware synths, and effects. It excels in electronic, hip-hop, modern pop styles as well as experimental or film music, thanks to its CC modulation lanes to animate filters, macros, and plug-in parameters.
Draw notes, record them via keyboard, or generate them on the fly. Set the root note and quantize to scales to avoid wrong notes. The Pitch, Velocity, and Gate lanes form the core of your phrase programming.
Add step-by-step octave changes, Pitch Bend curves (20 shapes), polyphonic chords, rolls, and musical randomness for natural "humanization" of your patterns.
The CC lane sends 0-127 values per step to the MIDI controller of your choice. Launch up to eight modulation sequences in parallel to simultaneously control multiple parameters.
