The SSH-6e is a mid-side shotgun microphone that captures direct and ambient sounds in great detail. With precise control over the stereo image, you can record hyper-directional sound and add only the ambient sounds you want. Mid-Side is a sophisticated technique that lets you adjust the stereo width of your recording. The Mid mic captures the direct sound and the Side mic captures a very wide stereo image. Balance them to get the perfect mix. You can even record in RAW format, which lets you adjust the stereo width after recording. The SSH-6e uses Zoom's 3.0 capsule system. This new connector ensures a stable connection and allows for 32-bit floating-point recording.
