Essential Information About the Duesenberg Paloma Guitar
- Maximum versatility thanks to the combination of a "GrandVintage" humbucker + two single coils "Pearlito" and "AlnicoBlade," controlled by a 4-position rotary selector.
- Diamond Deluxe Tremola vibrato that is responsive and stable, with a 360° rotatable arm for expressive and precise playing.
- Ultra-comfortable playability with PLEK-refined fingerboard, flawless frets, and consistent action across the entire neck.
- Solid alder body construction for attack, projection, and generous sustain, with elegant nickel hardware.
A Duesenberg with an "offset" design made for the stage
The Paloma embodies the DNA of Duesenberg solid-body guitars: sculpted lines, ergonomic curves, and meticulous finishes. Its three in-house pickups and rotary selector offer a modern tonal palette in a classic format, while the nickel hardware provides a warm shine that ages beautifully over time.
Who is it for and what styles?
Designed for intermediate to expert guitarists, the Paloma excels in pop, indie, funk, soul, and rock. The 4-position selector covers everything from crystal-clear cleans to punchy crunches and dense leads, making it an ideal instrument both in the studio and on stage when quick tonal changes are needed.
Sound
The GrandVintage humbucker at the bridge delivers firm lows and rich mids for powerful rhythms and singing solos. The Pearlito single coil (middle) and AlnicoBlade single coil (neck) provide openness, definition, and those very musical "quack" tones in the intermediate positions. Together with the alder body and maple neck, it offers precise attack, stable sustain, and excellent note clarity. The simple and effective electronics (volume, tone, 4-way rotary selector) ensure clean transitions without level loss.
Recommended compatible accessories
Delivered with the "Custom Line" gig bag (included), the Paloma uses electric string sets 010?050 (factory setup). For the stage, a strap with compatible Straplock buttons can be mounted directly on the Duesenberg Standard strap buttons. An A-type guitar stand will provide secure support for this solid-body format.
