The idea is simple: to retain that vintage and inspiring personality while making it more affordable and immediately usable on a modern pedalboard, with modulation options and an expression pedal input.
This guitar delay pedal is aimed at musicians who want an authentic analog tone without getting lost in menus: beginner guitarists (quick settings), experienced players (easy-to-find sweet spots), and gigging musicians (efficiency, True Bypass). It excels in blues, rock, indie, and alternative styles but also suits ambient textures very well thanks to its enveloping repeats and chorus/vibrato-type modulations. The Memory Boy is an analog delay with Feedback to adjust the number of repeats, and a delay time of up to 550 ms. It adds a selectable modulation section with Chorus or Vibrato, selectable modulation speeds, and two waveforms (triangle for smoother movement, square for a sharper, rhythmic effect). Going further, the Expression Pedal input allows foot control over Delay Time or modulation speed (with an extended range for modulation), ideal for smooth transitions, vibrato swells, or real-time timing changes.
