The Byzance Foundry Reserve collection is a limited selection of cymbals created in the Byzance foundry in Turkey. Inspired by the era when all cymbals were handmade, these cymbals showcase the amazing and sonically rich artworks crafted by cymbal artisans with layers of tone and nuance; however, that is only half of their beauty, as they are visually striking with their unique hand-hammered marks.
Each Byzance Foundry Reserve comes with a pair of Meinl Stick & Brush Standard 5A drumsticks, a pair of 100% cotton handling gloves, a signed certificate of authenticity, and a personal letter from Mr. Reinhold Meinl.
This medium-weight cymbal features a dry attack followed by a complex character in dark wash. It offers good stick definition while being thin enough to open up to powerful crashes.
