Significantly reduces noise. Bought for my son who is starting drums (which is in the living room). Very satisfied. Obviously you can still hear it but it is really less loud and resonates less.

Ok for the toms, it does its job, but the cymbals become real pots with no sound except a rather unpleasant rattling noise... the neighbors have nothing to fear with that...

For the neighbors, it does its job very well. However, the pads are so thick that you lose all the rebound and all the sound... to the point that you can work without headphones, and almost no difference between the high/medium/low toms... frustrating! An intermediate thickness might have been wiser... Be careful with the different kit sizes depending on your drum set, I almost got caught! Lightning delivery!
