1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue Deep Cherry Sunburst
Epiphone is proud to present the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue, a stunning recreation of the most popular models of the 1959 Les Paul Standard. Made in partnership with Gibson Custom, it offers vintage Les Paul looks and performance at an affordable price. All the classic features for which the 1959 Les Paul Standard model is known and loved are present here, including a one-piece mahogany body with an extended scale length for better stability and durability, an authentic 59 Rounded Medium C neck profile, and a rosewood fingerboard. It features mother-of-pearl inlays, an aged mother-of-pearl logo, and the words "LesPaul Model" silk-screened on the Gibson "openbook" style headstock. The original model has a mahogany body topped with a beautiful AAA flame maple top. The electronics are top-notch, with two Gibson USA Custombucker pickups equipped with Alnico 3 magnets, hand-wired with CTS pots, oil-filled Bumblebee capacitors, and a Switchcraft selector and 1/4" output jack. The Vintage Gloss finish gives the guitar a vintage look without making it appear too aged and is nicely complemented by the nickel hardware, including Epiphone's deluxe "SingleRing" Keystone tuners. A brown case with Inspired by Gibson Custom graphics and a pink interior is also included.
