First released in 1969, the Deluxe introduced the mini humbucker? to the Les Paul range. Mini humbuckers retain the noise-free performance of their full-sized counterparts but with a slightly clearer and brighter tone. The new Deluxe features characteristics inspired by those early 1970s models, with a solid mahogany body and a maple top, a bound mahogany neck with a rounded C profile, vintage-style Keystone tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, and a traditional Les Paul control layout with 2 Volume and 2 Tone controls wired with Orange Drop® capacitors. Available in classic Goldtop and 70s Cherry Sunburst finishes with glossy nitrocellulose lacquer.
