The "Granite Sparkle" finish is directly inspired by the creations from ESP's Custom Shop workshops in Japan, bringing a high-end sparkling aesthetic to the EC-1000. This model stands as a standard in the modern Eclipse range: a Les Paul-style single cut silhouette, redesigned to meet current demands for reliability, comfort, and power.
Designed for intermediate to expert guitarists, the EC-1000 excels in hard rock, metal, metalcore, and progressive styles, while remaining credible in modern rock and fusion. The short 24.75" / 628 mm scale length facilitates bends and vibrato, while the ebony fingerboard and 24 frets offer fast and precise playability across the entire neck.
The Fishman Fluence Modern duo delivers a wide, quiet, and very defined spectrum. The ceramic bridge pickup offers tight attacks and focused lows for palm mutes and fast rhythms, while the Alnico neck pickup provides a singing and full lead tone. The push-pull pots unlock Voicing 2 and 3, multiplying textures (from modern bite to more open timbres). The mahogany body and neck, combined with the Tonepros bridge and ebony fingerboard, add sustain, projection, and precise harmonic articulation.
A set of nickel steel "Regular" 10-46 strings will preserve the original balance and nut setup. Add a comfortable, non-slip strap to secure the instrument on stage, as well as a 6-string electric guitar capo (radius ~14") for quick key changes.
