Mahalo specialists have selected the best wood to create this new Java series that will make more than one person dance.
A journey to Indonesia.
To design this new series, the Mahalo R&D team traveled to Indonesia to select the wood species that would produce the best sound. Their choice fell on Indonesian teak wood for the fingerboard and bridge, mahogany for the neck, and nyatoh for the body. Clearly, a combination as unique as it is effective.
An impressive complete offer.
The instrument also features a Canadian wood NuBone XB bridge that delivers great projection and a very strong response in the low spectrum. This ukulele is equipped with Aquila strings that provide a full, powerful, and balanced sound. The MJ1 comes with a sturdy case that will effectively protect it from accidental drops.
