This saxophone mouthpiece from the DV series is made of 24-carat gold-plated metal and offers great projection power with a remarkably full sound.
The soprano saxophone DV mouthpiece features a perfect chamber/bore/face combination that will allow you to experience extraordinary playing.
Three objectives defined the guidelines in designing the DV series to create the most effective saxophone mouthpiece possible:
- Produce more harmonics and optimize projection
- Eliminate the annoying harshness associated with loud and bright saxophone mouthpieces
- Have a significant range of mid and low tones never before achieved

DV Series vs DV NY
Both mouthpieces have a full and resonant sound thanks to the secondary window. The DV will have more projection and be brighter due to the raised chamber floor, while the DV NY will have a more traditional jazz sound and projection due to the deep and full chamber.
