Why choose this speaker? After doing a lot of research online to change the speaker of my cabinet, I found that Marshall equips its ASTORIA cabinets with this speaker. Given the price of the cabinet and the high-end nature of the ASTORIA series, I thought, "a guarantee of quality." So I scoured forums and consumer reviews on this speaker and only got positive feedback. I was looking for a Marshall-typed sound to play good heavy rock, hard rock, and I am not disappointed. Paired with a Marshall DSL 15H head, I found what I wanted! I plan to buy a second one in the near future and install both in a Palmer 2-12 Cabinet Unloaded with open rear panel!
