Celestion launches the G12H-75 Creamback, a vintage but extremely powerful guitar speaker.
Celestion, the world leader in high-end guitar speakers, announced at NAMM the launch of the G12H-75 Creamback, the latest addition to its guitar speaker collection and the second Creamback model to date.
Following the success of the G12M-65 Creamback, launched in 2012, Celestion has created a Creamback version of the historic G12H guitar speaker. The brand new G12H-75 Creamback is a 12" ceramic speaker with a 1.75" voice coil, delivering an efficient sound up to 100 dB and a power of 75W coupled with a truly vintage tone.
The G12H-75 Creamback easily delivers its 75W power and has sound characteristics perfectly similar to the G12H. Like the difference between the basic G12H and the G12M, the G12H-75 Creamback has tighter bass than the G12M-65 Creamback, with less extended mids and more pronounced highs.
Beyond power, the addition of the H magnet (for "heavy") instead of the M (for "medium") provides thicker notes and adds precision, body, and consistency to the delivered sound.
It is for all these characteristics that the G12H-75 Creamback offers exceptional performance when used for lead guitar or when mounted in a 4x12" cabinet.
