ST400

The ST400 is an electric guitar with timeless vintage lines that have marked all generations of guitarists since the 1950s. It features a retro look and is built with a very light and resonant paulownia body, paired with an American maple neck. With its electronics consisting of 3 single-coil pickups controlled by a 5-position selector, its bridge/tremolo block, and its vintage aged-look pickguard, the ST400 offers versatility that will delight any guitarist beginning their musical journey.
Timeless vintage lines.
The iconic silhouette that inspired the design of the ST400 needs no introduction: the characteristic double cutaway ensuring excellent access to the highest frets, combined with three single-coil pickups, a well-known bridge/tremolo block, and its vintage aged-look pickguard. This classic configuration was adopted by the Italian manufacturer Eko to make the ST400 an attractive and ergonomic guitar, with a retro look, and above all very versatile for beginner guitarists.
Lightweight and sturdy craftsmanship.
Despite its very affordable price, the craftsmanship of the ST400 has received great attention to offer beginner guitarists an attractive and very well-finished guitar. The body is made from paulownia, a light, sturdy, and resonant wood providing comfort and beautiful vibrations. The 4-bolt screwed neck made of American maple, robust and comfortable, is topped with an Eko WPC (Wood Polymers Composites) resin fretboard providing smoothness and stability to the crispness of the maple.
A versatile configuration.
On the electronics side, the ST400 is equipped with 3 single-coil pickups in a well-known layout, highly appreciated for their versatility. Very comfortable on clean sounds and light overdrives, they can also be very biting when paired with a powerful distortion. The 5-position selector expands the range of tones offered by the instrument, with three positions (neck, middle, and bridge) each associated with one of the pickups delivering clear and powerful sounds, and two intermediate positions wired in parallel to achieve more scooped and smooth tones. The tremolo block features individually adjustable saddles to best set the action and intonation of each string, and a classic tremolo to add some character to your playing!
Affordable, lightweight, versatile, and very aesthetic with its timeless retro silhouette, the ST400 is the ideal instrument to start electric guitar with pleasure, without breaking the bank.
