We no longer present the timeless silhouette that inspired the design of the S300: a characteristic double notch guaranteeing excellent access to the latest boxes, three single pickups, a well-known bridge / vibrato unit. This classic configuration has been taken up by the Italian manufacturer Eko in order to make the S300 an accessible and ergonomic guitar with its light weight and its welcoming curves, but above all very versatile for budding guitarists. The violin of the S300 has been produced with the greatest care in order to offer guitarists a guitar that is pleasant to play as well as to watch. The body, made from basswood in order to offer good robustness, is highlighted by a shiny varnish. The screwed 4-point birch neck is associated with a touch of South American roupanà bringing softness and warmth to the drier accents of lime and birch. On the electronic side, the S300 features 3 single coil pickups with recognized versatility. Very comfortable with clean sounds and light saturation, they can also be very biting when paired with powerful distortion. The 5-position selector expands the range of tones offered by the instrument, with three positions (low, center and high) associated with each of the three microphones offering clear and powerful sounds, and two intermediate positions wired in parallel to obtain sounds more deep and velvety. The vibrato block incorporates independently adjustable saddles to best adjust the action and harmonic of each string, and a classic vibrato to bring some character to the playing.
