Respecting our heritage while maintaining our innovative spirit, the power trio of Player Series single-coil pickups are crisp and articulate - it's authentic Fender tone with a modern edge. The "Modern C"-shaped maple neck's comfortable contours and smooth finish are ideal for almost any playing style. By adding a 22nd medium jumbo fret to the contemporary 9.5"-radius fingerboard we've made it easier to express yourself musically. The updated 2-point tremolo design has smoother travel for enhanced playing feel while simultaneously giving you rock-solid tuning stability since there's less friction against the posts. Other features include master volume and tone controls, a 5-way pickup switch, 3-ply pickguard, synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree, sealed tuning machines and four-bolt "F"-stamped neck plate that marks this instrument as the real deal - as Fender as it gets.

    I gave up my other guitars. Really. The feel is perfect: I played in a band for 5 years with a Les Paul type whose neck was too thick and the body too heavy, which handicapped me without me realizing it. The neck is a highway for notes: arpeggios, chords, tapping, everything goes by so fast and slides delicately. The original sound is perfect for me, for more power I think Seymours will do the job. I love it.

    A good guitar that sounds really good in the SSS version. For a Mexican one, the quality is really above what I expected, a little visit to the luthier to adjust it will still be good (like any new instrument).

    The guitar is beautiful and of much better quality than the old model. Whether it's the electronics, the pickups (no need to change them anymore), the woods, the two finishes on the neck, everything breathes quality like on an American: I disassembled the guitar as soon as I received it to analyze and compare it with my US one. The guitar would be perfect and competitive with my American if it weren't for this poor finishing problem on the frets at the edges of the neck: polishing the ends is mandatory! The same issue happened to me on a G&L, which was also praised for its build quality. Once this comfort problem is fixed, you are assured to own a beautiful and excellent instrument that I know I will not part with.... (Show more)
