Resulting from the collaboration between PRS and guitarist-composer Mark Lettieri, the PRS Fiore HH retains the original Fiore?s clean aesthetics and ergonomics while adopting a dual humbucker configuration. The result: a denser, more powerful sonic platform without sacrificing the balance, dynamics, and transparency that have made the series renowned.
Ideal for versatile guitarists?both studio and live?the Fiore HH excels in modern funk, pop, fusion, and rock. Its fast response and definition make it a perfect partner for precise rhythms, while its gain reserve and silky highs ensure expressive solos that cut through the mix without harshness.
The Fiore-H pickup duo is controlled by a master volume, two push/pull tone controls (series/parallel), one per pickup, and a 3-way selector switch. In series, you get generous lows and mids with articulated highs; in parallel, the tone opens up, becoming airier and sharper, close to a single-coil spirit. This setup offers eight immediate tonal combinations, perfectly usable at high volume or in clean settings.
On the craftsmanship side, swamp ash provides snap and projection, paired with a 25.5" scale bolt-on maple neck for tension and precision. The 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with a 10" radius delivers a familiar, fast, and comfortable feel. The two-point steel vibrato, supported by vintage-style locking tuners and nickel hardware, ensures exemplary stability and durability for touring.
