Developed with guitarist-composer Mark Lettieri, the PRS Fiore HH retains the clean aesthetics and playability of the original Fiore while introducing a dual humbucker configuration. This evolution offers a beefier tonal platform without sacrificing the balance and precision that have made the series renowned.
From modern fusion to alternative rock, from funky grooves to ambient textures, the Fiore HH covers a wide range. The humbuckers deliver dense, singing high-gain leads yet remain clear and airy in clean tones, even with the volume cranked up. The result: a guitar capable of confidently transitioning from a compressed mix to an intimate set.
The pair of Fiore-H pickups is paired with a master volume, two push/pull tone controls, and a 3-way selector switch. Each push/pull switches its pickup between series (full tone, warm mids, solid lows) and parallel (snappier attack, brightness, and a feel close to a single coil). Combined with the selector, these options provide eight distinct voices, perfectly usable on stage.
In terms of feel, the 25.5-inch scale length offers tension and attack precision, the swamp ash body ensures great projection, and the 2-point steel vibrato provides smoothness and tuning stability with vintage-style locking tuners. The "Birds" inlays and "Sunflower" finish mark the PRS identity.
