The European maple shells develop a round and resonant sound with a wide frequency spectrum – from the high-end attack on the small toms and snares to a full, deep fundamental sound on the floor toms and bass drums. Premium features are found on every instrument. The 7-ply tom shells come standard equipped with DW®'s suspended tom mounting system (STM?) and sturdy steel legs for the floor toms. The 7-ply bass drum hoops are held by strong die-cast claws, while the 10-ply snares include the reliable MAG? trigger system, where the easy-to-use vertical adjustment lever is secured by a clever magnet against accidental operation. All PDP® Concept? Maple series drums use DW® True-Pitch® tension rods, graduated hoops, retro-inspired double flanged hoops, and premium REMO® heads.
