Lightweight, sturdy, stable, and very practical. Folds and unfolds in a snap, making it perfect for the stage (if you don't use more than two guitars, of course). And quite elegant in a living room (the guitars are tall enough, "within reach" without bending over). Works for acoustic and electric guitars. The black cushion (foam) prevents any accidental shock to the back of the instrument. Safety catch on the high rod (make sure to push it up until it "clicks"). In short, a well-thought-out great product.
