Description

GOLD-EDGE LE, Grand Auditorium shape, torrefied solid spruce top, solid flamed myrtlewood back & sides, LR Baggs EQ, natural gloss

For over 60 years, Cort has been making guitars and basses with an unbeatable price-to-quality ratio on the market. Whether you're a beginner guitarist, looking for a custom shop acoustic, or a fan of extreme metal, think Cort guitars!

This new GOLD series was designed with one thing in mind: sound. And you'll hear it from the very first chord! Thanks to the new ATV (Aged To Vintage) torrefaction process applied to the top, the UV finish that allows for a thinner varnish layer, the neck reinforced with two rosewood inserts, and the superior manufacturing quality down to the smallest details, the GOLD series is already a must-have in terms of sound and elegance!

Hello everyone, First of all, as usual, congratulations to Woodbrass for (EVERYTHING) Regarding the guitar: The ebony fretboard is magnificent, the body is superb, all the materials used are noble and of very good quality, they are found on so-called high-end brand guitars for much more expensive prices. The history of Cort is well known, they know how to make high-end as well as entry-level guitars. The acoustic sound is good, maybe a bit recessed on fingerstyle, As for the pickup system, once again a wise choice, the guitar's sound is perfectly transmitted, although I use a very basic amp, the IBANEZ troubadour 10W, The original strings for my part will need to be changed quickly, although they are high-end strings, maybe they have been on the guitar for some time. To summarize, a thoughtful purchase on my part and I accept not to take a guitar seen everywhere, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and the guitar makes an impact in a group. Peace and music... (Show more)

Very beautiful guitar, impeccable finish, extremely high quality, but lacking fullness in sound, especially in finger style! This guitar seems to be intended for strumming or to be plugged into a microphone. Perhaps the myrtle wood back lacks depth. A pity, because it is a very pretty guitar, very comfortable, easy to play, even if the action is slightly high, and it is very original in its presentation. I will therefore return it because I am looking for a guitar with a more pronounced sound, mainly to practice finger style.
