Grand Orchestra

Taylors biggest and boldest sound in the largest possible format. With resonant low-end response, enhanced by the revolutionary V-Class bracing specially designed to harness the highest harmonics while developing longer sustain and even greater dB output, the Grand Orchestra is incredibly balanced for a guitar with such a large body. With a rich and complex voice that is also balanced and sensitive to a light touch, you dont need an aggressive attack to move the top. The articulated Grand Orchestra is as subtle and nuanced as it is bold and brassy. Extremely responsive, expressive, and versatile, it may be the perfect guitar for the solo performer looking to hold an entire audience in the palm of their hand.
Indian Rosewood

The breadth and presence of rosewood in the sonic and dynamic spectrum have made it one of the most popular acoustic tonewoods of all time and a favorite for Taylor guitars. Its warm lows and bright highs offer a pleasing blend of clarity and resonance, blossoming with harmonics as notes sustain. A slightly scooped midrange provides the perfect space for vocals, making rosewood a preferred wood for singer-songwriters.
Sitka Spruce

Sitka spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. Sitka delivers a wide dynamic range and adapts to many playing styles, from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking. As a guitar soundboard, Sitka spruce is the standard tonewood of the modern era. It is used on 85 to 90% of Taylor guitars. Its combination of strength and elasticity results in a wide dynamic range, offering clear articulation and allowing everything from aggressive strumming and flatpicking to fingerpicking.
